Lora is a young student growing up in a difficult family situation. Her father struggled with alcohol addiction and, after leaving the family and returning home, eventually abandoned his wife and two children. Since then, Lora’s mother has been taking full responsibility for her children’s education and household expenses, including the house rent. She earns a small income by doing Tamil typing work for only 2–3 hours a day. Despite her limited earnings and many challenges, she continues to work hard to ensure that both her children can continue their education.
