Santhosh Kumar is from Thirumangalam near Madurai. His father works as a security guard at a power plant in Udumalaipet, and his mother is a homemaker. He completed his 10th grade, while his younger sister is currently pursuing her first year of college. Due to financial difficulties, he started working after his 10th, taking up part-time jobs, including working with food delivery services like Swiggy and Zomato, to support his family. With the help of Thaagam Foundation, he has received support, and continued financial assistance would greatly help him pursue further studies.
